WE ARE TC STRONG!
Inspired by community concerns around mental health distress among our youth and building on existing efforts of the Transylvania County Youth Support Collaborative workgroups, TC STRONG was formed to create a broad coalition of youth, school, and community leaders that will develop and implement a strategic plan to address these concerns in a collaborative and effective way.

The following resources can help you support your child as they navigate the loss of a friend or classmate to suicide:

Learn more about risk factors, protective factors, and warning signs. If you have any concerns, reach out to your child’s doctor, a counselor, or call the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Make sure your child knows to tell a trusted adult if they are concerned about themselves or their friends or classmates.
